Introduction
There are some people who prefer the wedding event management where it is held inside a church and you can really feel the holiness of the place. To the bride and groom who prefers this, they say that they like the venue because their wedding is much more meaningful.
However, there are also some who like the outdoors and they want their wedding to be held outside. Some popular sites include the beach, farm, or some parts of the field.
If your preference is the latter and you are going to have your wedding outdoors, then here are some tips to help you get the most out of the venue and to make your day extra special.
1. Choose the Motif
The theme of your wedding is very important because the aesthetics and the ambiance are all going to be centered around it.
There are two ways that can help you decide on a motif: either you draw inspiration from your childhood or it is patterned more towards your favorite color.
Once you’ve decided on the theme, you can then start putting some decorations, flowers, tablecloths and linens, among other things.
You also have to consider the overall color scheme of the venue. For instance, if you’re going to be married at the beach, choosing white linens is much safer than choosing a color that doesn’t much the ambiance.
2. Install a Marquee
When the wedding is going to be in the morning or in the afternoon, the sun will still shine at those times.
Your guests might not want to be under the sun for too long, so you have to make sure that you install some marquee.
These are tents that save you from the intense heat of the sun and it can also protect you from its damaging rays. I cannot stress this enough! You have to install them, otherwise, your guests are not
going to enjoy the occasion.
3. Provide a Platform
If your venue’s flooring is anything but concrete, then you must provide a platform for people to stand comfortably.
For instance, people might wear sandals or 3-inch heels and it might not be suitable for grassy and sandy floors.
You can get a smithy to create a wooden platform for you and your guests or you can even have a makeshift platform installed by the venue manager. Whatever it is, make it a point to think about your guests as well.
4. Use the Lighting in Creative Ways
You could utilize your lighting system in a way that makes your day more magical. You could put a silk lining at the stage and have some lights directed towards it so that it will reflect it in a pretty nice way.
You could also have your design team create fancy designs and have them placed everywhere in the venue. Make use of different colored lights to make things more spectacular.
5. Have the Place Cleaned
Although having your wedding outdoors is pretty good, you have to make the necessary preparations by having the place cleaned thoroughly first.
You want the venue manager to use some bug spray to ensure that there are no pests and other nuisances in the place.
